Lottery enthusiasts across Canada have been eagerly anticipating the latest Lotto MAX draw. It came with a Main prize reaching CA$15 million and all eyes were set on the prize. Loto-Québec revealed that the winning ticket eligible for this cash payout had been sold in the Mauricie region ahead of the most recent lottery draw. The winner is yet to contact the Crown corporation.
Lotto MAX is among the most popular draw-based offerings available out there, as many individuals religiously purchase tickets ahead of every regular draw. They often play with the same number combinations signifying something to them. For one ticket sold in Quebec, the winning combination of numbers is about to make its purchaser CA$15 million richer.
Winning Numbers
For the time being, it remains unclear whether the winning ticket has been purchased by an individual or by a group of lottery enthusiasts. This would be revealed in the upcoming weeks, as the winner contacts Loto-Québec. They have 52 weeks to do this before the time window for collecting the jackpot it over. This is a standard procedure and policy of the Crown corporation.
June 16 brought the latest Lotto MAX draw and all individuals interested in it had their eyes on the draw. The numbers highlighted to bring a great prize to one ticket were 01, 03, 22, 30, 31, 37, 40, as well as the bonus one 06. In order to receive the CA$15 million, the ticket had to match the seven main numbers drawn. This most recent draw came with solely an Encore additional draw, as there were no Maxmillions up for grabs.
However, the CA$1-million prize featured in the Encore draw also remained untouched after the end of the Lotto MAX draw. When all was said and done, the most recent draw changed the lives of as many as 80,330 ticket purchasers that will soon be able to share their prizes with their loved ones and relatives.
Lotto 6/49
Quebec has been quite the attractive location for Lotto MAX jackpot winners, as last week saw yet another large windfall land in the region. James Colin Aiken from Montreal and Claude Léger from Montérégie have been colleagues at work for quite a while and they have the lottery ticket purchasing tradition.
The two of them became eligible for a cash payout of CA$6.5 million at the end of the lottery draw. Lotto 6/49 is another popular gaming offering that has seen a constant level of engagement, as regular players enjoy it two times a week. Yet another couple of colleagues became eligible for a cash payout earlier in the spring.
Coworkers David Morley and Jean Riviere were able to divide CA$1 million coming with the April 18 draw of the popular Lotto 6/49. They took their time when it comes to collecting the prize, as the unprecedented situation got in the way. The two Bandon coworkers revealed that they had commenced lottery gaming as a group about nine months ahead of the winning draw. Various projects will now be fueled with the cash prize.
