Seneca Resorts & Casinos has most recently announced that it has found a way the safely bypass the social distancing rules but still entertain fans. The tribal facility has taken up the task to hold weekly live concerts for fans to enjoy safely from the comfort of their homes. The initiative will be known n as ‘Inside the Bear’s Den’ and it will consist of live performances of regional and national artists.
It has been over a year now since the beginning of the lockdown restrictionс back in March 2020. Ever since then live concerts and all kinds of social events have been almost impossible and started to like a thing from the past. In order to ensure fans’ safety, the gambling facility has decided to launch online live concerts, that all people will be able to enjoy as long as they have an internet connection.
Virtual Entertainment
The gaming complex revealed more information on the upcoming Friday live shows ‘Inside the Bear’s Den’. The performances will be prerecorded behind closed doors, but thanks to the casino’s high-tech equipment the concerts will not be losing their charm. Additionally, there will be interviews with the performing artists, in order to fans communicate with them and exchange thoughts.
Seneca Gaming Corporation’s Senior Executive Director of Entertainment & Special Events Christian Printup stated that ever since live gatherings have been suspended, the casino has been missing out on its live entertainment factor. According to him, the live concert initiative will be a great way to lift the spirits and connect artists with their fans on a personal level.
The first live show will be held this Friday on March 19, and players will be able to enjoy OsbornNash’s performance, followed shortly by Nashville resident and East Rochester native Alyssa Trahan. The concert will be available at the casino’s official website www.SenecaCasinos.com at 5 p.m. ET on Friday. A new episode will premiere every two weeks and it will be completely free for viewing.
The series of concerts will have something for everyone’s taste. In the upcoming episodes, fans will be able to enjoy Western New Yorker Cami Clune, who has most recently featured in NBC’s “The Voice”. Local artists such as Nerds Gone Wild, Jamie Holka & Bruce Wojick, XOXO Pop Band, Brother James, The Boys of Summer, and Tessa DelZoppo are also scheduled to take part in the exciting online performance series.
Job Fair
Seneca Gaming Corporation has recently held a job fair in order to recruit individuals for its job vacancies at its Buffalo and Niagara Falls gambling venues. The tribal corporation welcomed everyone who is over the age of 21 and is eager to explore new career opportunities. Candidates were glad to hear that the company offers a competitive payment and a series of bonus incentives.
Historic Appointment
Back in the fall of last year, the tribal gaming regulator made a historically significant appointment after it announced its new Chief Executive Officer. Kevin Nephew was the newly-assigned CEO of the corporation, and for the first time in its history, the corporation will be headed by a member of the Seneca Nation of Indians.
