Rivalry Debuts Magazine to Attract Younger Bettors

Rivalry, an innovative sportsbook and internet gambling operator catering to Millennials and Gen Z, has recently launched its own Rivalry Magazine. This online platform aims to stand out in Ontario’s bustling iGaming market, which is home to 47 licensed operators. The magazine serves as a company blog and creative portfolio, offering a deeper glimpse into the brand and its strategic maneuvers in the online gambling domain.

The magazine, available at RivalryMagazine.com, provides insights into the company’s decisions regarding online gambling platforms and media campaigns. Cody Luongo, Senior Manager of Corporate Communications at Rivalry, describes the magazine as a reflection of the company’s core philosophy. This philosophy centers around the belief that infusing ordinary products and experiences with entertainment adds substantial value and excitement for players. Articles in the October 2023 issue, such as “Rivalry Uses Dark Magic in New Ad Campaign” and “Why We Turned ‘Cash Out’ into a Chicken Drumstick,” showcase Rivalry’s unique approach to engaging its audience.

Rivalry has also been busy expanding its offerings. In October 2023, it introduced a custom-branded slots category on its iGaming platform, Casino.exe. This feature, which presents titles in an early 2000s online design, demonstrates the company’s commitment to creating a unique and visually appealing environment for users. Additionally, Rivalry revealed “Cash & Dash,” a new game exclusively available on its digital gaming platform, known for its fast-paced gameplay and beautifully crafted graphic design.

In addition to these innovations, Rivalry has launched Rivalry Wrapped, a comprehensive look at esports betting in 2022. This report includes data on the most bet-on games, matches, teams, and the crossover with traditional sports. It highlights trends such as the rising popularity of mobile games among esports bettors and insights into which game publishers may benefit from responsible and regulated sports betting.

Rivalry’s focus on esports betting is further exemplified by its membership in the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), an organization dedicated to maintaining the competitiveness of the esports industry. This aligns with Rivalry’s mission to attract a younger demographic, primarily Millennials and Gen Z, who are increasingly engaged in esports and online gaming.

For more information on Rivalry’s initiatives and insights into the evolving world of esports betting, you can visit Rivalry’s official website. Additionally, for a broader understanding of Ontario’s iGaming market and regulatory environment, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario provides relevant resources and information.
