Real Luck Group Applauds Bill C-218 Passage

Canada is on the brink of a gaming revolution as the country moves inches away from legalizing single-event sports betting. Real Luck Group has been one of the first companies to congratulate the government as The Safe and Regulated Sports Betting Act had officially passed at the Senate this week. The bill now awaits a Royal Assent before becoming a law.

The Safe and Regulated Sports Betting Act which is also known as Bill C-218 and would lift the prohibition on single-sport wagering in Canada. This is a long-awaited change in the country’s gaming industry as currently, gamblers have to participate in parlay-betting in order to place a wager on their preferred sporting event.

Massive Step Forward

CEO of Real Luck Group Thomas Rosander stated that the passing of Bill C-218 is tremendous news for the gaming and iGaming industry in Canada. Mr. Rosander congratulated all lawmakers involved in the legal processing of the bill, and he also thanked them for advancing the legislation and thus allowing companies to provide safe and regulated betting for millions of Canadians.

According to the CEO, there is a major interest in gambling on sports and eSports events in Canada and the industry is on track to be a multi-billion one for the country’s economy. He added that the company is eagerly waiting for the bill to receive Royal Assent and it will be looking into being one of the first providers to offer the new betting opportunities in its platform.

Victory Square Technologies has also issued a statement to celebrate the occasion of Bill C-218’s passage in the Canadian Senate. The British Columbia-based firm owns subsidiary companies that will greatly benefit from the introduction of single-event wagering, GameOn Entertainment Technologies, and FansUnite Entertainment. Victory Square Technologies is looking forward to launching the new offering once the bill passes a Royal Assent.

Shafin Diamond Tejani, CEO of Victory Square Technologies, that the successful passing of Bill C-218 would be a significant benefit for the company’s subsidiary establishment. The CEO explained that both GameOn and FansUnite are already taken their strategic positions to be able to fully capitalize from the soon-to-be law, as the former will provide gaming operators with content, and FanUnite’s software will prove vital.

Real Luck is on its way to becoming one of the best gaming companies in the North American region as at the start of this year, the company has become an official member of the Canadian Gaming Association. This step will give the company a much bigger presence in the Canadian gaming markets, it will be able to develop its growth plans.

This April the International Olympic Committee announced its first-ever online edition of the Olympics named Olympic Virtual Series which will include several eSports tournaments. Real Luck Group and its subsidiary Luckbox were more than glad to hear the news as the latter is an uprising eSports betting provider. Then CEO of the company Quentin Martin stated that it was great to see that the digital sports industry gaining more and more momentum.
