Oneida Indian Nation is preparing to introduce some changes to the way in-person gambling is about to take place on the premises of its tribal casino venues. Individuals making their way there will have to go through special new screening protocols upon entering the casino hotspots, in order to guarantee protection at all costs to both the patrons and the casino staff.
Native American casinos are among the popular gaming locations in New York State, as many players prefer the overall experience they have there. The Native American tribe oversees three casino resorts that have witnessed extensive renovation and various enhancements over the past twelve months. They are now ready to welcome individuals with improved safety and health protocols.
New Measures
Oneida Indian Nation is ready to implement new safety measures to its three casinos and make them even safer down the road. Such protocols will aim to keep patrons safe while they are gambling in-person on the premises of the tribal venues. The unprecedented situation calls for the utmost level of flexibility when it comes to the local gambling field.
The latest measures that will aim to protect both patrons and the people working there on a daily basis will aim to introduce a quarantine of sorts. Casino patrons traveling from any state other than New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Massachusetts, or Connecticut will have to quarantine before making their way to the casino locations. They will have to self-isolate for three days and then test on the fourth one.
This will be the mandatory measure for each end every patron. Only the individuals that have successfully passed this phase will get the chance to gamble in-person in one of the three casinos managed by Oneida Indian Nation. Another condition will also be introduced and it directly affects casino staff members that have to travel out of state for more than 24 hours.
Tribal Gaming Continues
They will also have to self-isolate for 14 days once they have returned to the state if they show any concerning symptoms. It should be pointed out that the three tribal casinos have kept their strict safety measures and all patrons must wear face masks at all times while gambling. Sanitation stations have also been introduced on their premises ahead of this summer’s reopening.
The three casino resorts in central New York were ready to implement better safety measures and welcome individuals willing to wager in-person and enjoy the various gaming products available on their premises back in June. Ever since then, they have been operating and welcoming players on a daily basis. In the meantime, Turning Stone Resort Casino will soon welcome the daily operation of Hampton Inn by Hilton.
The new hotel venue continues its construction with full throttle, as it was supposed to be completely finished by September 2020. It will bring 109 rooms up for grabs and it will mirror the premium design of the tribal casino locations. Projections are that it will be ready for an official opening in April 2021.
