New York State’s gambling industry is slowly but surely getting back on its feet following months of lockdown and no in-person gambling. Resorts World Casino New York City is about to see expansion in the upcoming years, as its owner plans a US$400-million Hyatt Regency Hotel welcoming individuals from near and far on its premium premises.
Accommodation on a state level is about to increase in the upcoming years, as the owner of the gambling hotspot at Aqueduct Racetrack is ready to make a move in this direction. Genting Americas is ready to see the introduction of a new hotel located in the region, allowing gambling enthusiasts the chance to stay for longer and explore everything Queens has to offer.
New Hotel
The unprecedented situation in New York State and all around the globe has left hotel venues empty for months, as many hospitality companies were hesitant to make a move and relaunch operation. Hotels across the state work with strict safety and health protocols intact and individuals making their way there rely on those policies with their own health.
Regardless of the current situation, Resorts World Casino New York City’s owner is ready for a brand new project in the area, aiming to be the breath of fresh air Queen’s needs. This week saw the official announcement that Genting Americas plans on building a brand new hotel overseen by Hyatt Regency. The new project will amount to some US$400 million and attract individuals with its premium atmosphere and facilities.
It will go by the name of Hyatt Regency JFK at Resorts World New York and it will be located near JFK airport. This is expected to make the hotel a preferred accommodation for individuals traveling, as well as for the people ready to try their luck at Resorts World Casino New York City. The hotel building is going to be adjacent to the existing casino hotspot at Aqueduct Racetrack.
Aqueduct Racetrack
It could be recalled that the gambling hotspot launched operation about a decade ago and the construction of a hotel venue has always been in the plans. Genting Americas wants to offer its customers a well-rounded experience to the people seeing in-person gaming or live horse racing events. This could happen with the introduction of a hospitality hotspot.
With the help of this new hotel, the casino operator would aim to attract travelers from JFK airport to the casino venue and the horse racetrack in Queens. The unprecedented situation and the uncertain gambling field do not appear to have worried Genting aiming to bring premium services to its loyal customers and to new individuals making their way there.
The hotel is expected to open next year and it will bring four stars of excellence to the region. It will also have a total of 400 rooms available for booking. Hyatt Regency JFK at Resorts World New York is also expected to introduce premium restaurants, conference and meeting halls, shopping offerings, as well as gambling offerings of a smaller scale.
