The suspicious item located at the casino floor drew the attention of Chances Casino’s management and evacuation had to take place immediately. It all took place around 8:30 p.m. this Saturday while the gaming location was quite busy with locals ready to give their luck a try.
The police making its way to the casino location immediately performed the first inspection of the alleged bomb. Staff Sgt. Scott West of the Salmon Arm RCMP revealed more on the tense situation that saw a happy end. It all happened in a protected environment, making it safe for the RCMP unit working in the vicinity of the alleged bomb device. They used a remote device, as to prevent an unfortunate turn of events.
