New York Commercial, Tribal Casinos Welcome LV Super Bowl

The Super Bowl is the most anticipated sports event in America and maybe the world. The final also attracts huge gambling audiences as it would be a great opportunity for placing a few bets. This has been the case with many New Yorkers who have decided to place their bets in the Rivers Casino before the big game on Sunday.

It is reported that during this time of the year Rivers Casino is reaching its peak numbers, thanks to the major football game. With enthusiasts from all over the state visiting to wager a few bets on their favorite for the soon-to-be-champions. But if you are no football expert do not worry since the casino offers plenty of specialized Super Bowl bets, which are great for the more casual viewers.

Rivers Casino

Rivers Casino has seen a great interest in the events for years and this one was no exception, with huge lines of players waiting to try their luck in the commercial venue. Of course, it was all happening under the state’s safety protocols due to the unprecedented situation. According to Rivers Casino’s Sports Book Manager Hal Wafer, football is the most preferred betting option and many players decided to submit their last-minute bets.

Seneca Buffalo Ready for Super Bowl

According to American Gaming Association reports around 23 million Americans will place bets on this year’s grand finale, which estimates to over US$4.3 billion in bets. The estimations suggest that this will be a 37% decrease, compared to last year’s numbers, which is understandable considering the new restrictions and health measures implemented by the government, in order to keep players safe and sound.

The highly-anticipated football clash also brings huge crowds to the Seneca Buffalo Casino, with many players making their way to the tribal venue to place their predictions and hope for the best outcome. But according to the casino, it is expecting more gamblers this year, despite what the research suggests, this is why this year the facility will be more than prepared for the upcoming enthusiasts.

Executive Director of Advertising and Communications Tonia Ineson believes that despite the unprecedented situation the casino still expects huge interest from players who are betting on the final. There are plenty of bets variety for players, such as betting on the first team to score, or first touchdown for the game.

Online Sports Betting

According to Spectrum Gaming’s recent study, the introduction of online sports wagering will be hugely beneficial for the New York state. The study shows the potential of US$1 billion revenue for the industry, which will be generated by the commercial and tribal casinos online platforms, bringing over US$100 in tax revenue for the state. The launch of online casinos will be helpful for the parties involved.

Single-operator Model

Governor Andrew Cuomo supports the idea of online betting platforms, but he is facing public backlash due to his proposal to make the platforms lottery-run by a single-operator since he believes it will be most profitable for the budget. However, his idea is not very appealing to the many operator candidates for the launch, plus the players will also be negatively minded towards the single-operator since their options will be limited.
