Rivers Casino Marks In-Person Table Gaming Return

Rivers Casino and Resort Schenectady is ready to welcome back an even wider crowd of individuals interested in in-person gambling with the help of its enhanced gaming offerings. Table gaming was recently greenlighted following months of slot machines gaming only. Individuals will once again be able to play craps and roulette at the casino resort.

Enhancing gaming offerings on the premises of the premium casino resort has been among the main goals over the past few weeks of casino operation. Rivers Casino and Resort Schenectady returned to its daily operation at the beginning of September and ever since then, its management has been working on the safety and health protocols implemented, in order to fortify them.

Craps, Roulette

September 9 saw the official reopening of the casino resort following about five months of lockdown. Commercial casinos within New York State were allowed to return to their daily operation with the help of the approval coming from the New York State Gaming Commission. They returned to their daily work bringing back slot machines gaming but no table gaming for the time being.

The safety of all patrons is important for the casino operators and table gaming is known for involving the close proximity of players while they are gambling. This was the reason why craps and roulette gaming, along with poker offerings remained unavailable on a state level. Rivers Casino is now a pioneer when it comes to table gaming, as it brought the gaming offering back. General Manager, Justin Moore, said that the process has been an ongoing one.

Rivers Casino had to meet the safety requirements the state issued, in order to get the permission to offer craps gaming and roulette to its patrons. The new additions will make the casino venue even more competitive on a state scale. As of October 2, individuals interested have the chance to play on all table games available.

What’s Up for Grabs

The tables now come with special plexiglass screens installed and separating the patrons from dealers taking care of the smooth gaming session. This will create distance between them and protect them while the gaming is in progress. In order to receive a green light for gaming, players will have to sanitize their hands before and after the in-person gaming session.

Table games involve the use of chips and cards, objects that will be sanitized as frequently as possible. For those interested in trying everything up for grabs right now, Rivers Casino will work with special new schedule between 8 a.m. and 2 a.m. outside of these working hours, the entire casino floor is subjected to a thorough cleaning and sanitization needed for the upcoming day of gambling.

Disinfection also happens on a regular basis before and after the use of each of the slot machines and across the venue. Rivers Casino used the months of lockdown in order to perfect its Sure Bet Sanitized program that was implemented at the beginning of September. Individuals interested in gaming there also have the chance to enjoy the diverse Rivers Sportsbook with self-betting kiosks available.
