Oneida Indian Nation announced its official decision to expand operation at Point Place Casino in Bridgeport and enhance the player experience. Work is in progress at the moment and projections are that it would be finished by the spring months.

Point Place Casino is projected to see major expansion that is expected to draw a larger crowd on its premises. The Native American tribe strives to bring people from across New York State to their tribal venue that was among sports wagering pioneers in the local gamin field.
Expansion Is in Progress
Players’ expectations can often guide the casino management to the areas in need of improvement, a notion that has prompted the current expansion at Point Place Casino. The Bridgeport gaming venue is about to welcome more space on the gaming floor. It would eventually welcome some 100 brand new slot machines ready to meet their first casino patrons and possibly change their lives.
As a result of this expansion, their overall number is going to become 600. Moreover, the project envisages a new program aiming to make dealers proficient in what they are doing. This would mean that employees would be able to offer casino patrons a premium level of gaming at Point Place Casino. New individuals joining the staff would go through the dealers’ school before having their first experience with real-life players.
The complex is about to see the addition of new administrative office space, enabling smoother operation and direct supervision. Oneida Indian Nation wants to make the casino location even more diverse by working on its family-friendly offerings too. The expansion currently in progress is going to bring Burgers of Madison County and Wicked Good Pizza to the Bridgeport location.
More Slot Machines and Food Offerings
Ever since March 2018, the casino location has succeeded in attracting quite the crowd of players ready to try their luck. They hail from Bridgeport and neighboring communities, making the casino complex a true hotspot. Two bars are about to welcome their first customers over the spring months of 2020. It should also be taken into account that more local businesses would also see development on site.
Opal’s Confectionery is projected to launch its very own shop on the complex’ premises, joined by The Fireside Lounge and Paddle Bar. Oneida Indian Nation is about to pen a labor agreement with Central New York unions guaranteeing ethical work conditions for all participants in the construction phase of the expansion.
August saw the official launch of legal sports betting at two tribal casino locations in Central New York – Turning Stone Resort Casino in Verona and Point Place Casino in Bridgeport. Point Place General Manager Jerry Marello stated that the official launch would meet the expectations of thousands of individuals eager to experience it at last in their home state.
