Major changes will soon be a reality on site of the Yellow Brick Road Casino overseen by Oneida Indian Nation. The tribal gaming location located in Chittenango is projected to go through an extensive renovation over the next few months, as construction begins this week. This year marks the fourth anniversary of the tribal casino venue and congratulations are in order, as well as preparation for the booming sports wagering operation on a state level.
New York has a vibrant tribal gaming scene featuring as many as seven casino venues overseen by Native American tribes. Tribal casino venue operation helps the tribes to support their local renovation, improve their reserves, employ their community members, as well as distribute allocations to various state projects. Investment is a key driving force to all seven of those casino venues that attract quite the crowd due to their authentic atmosphere.
Brand New Exterior and Interior
The Oneida Indian Nation has been overseeing Yellow Brick Road Casino over the past four years and this is the third casino venue managed by this tribe. Over the past years of operation, the casino venue has been through quite the ride, which calls for a renovation that is going to bring a breath of fresh air to the casino facility. The 60,000-square-foot location will be completely redesigned on the outside.
This renovation will reflect the new phase the casino venue enters, four years after the official opening celebration. The tribe has always been keeping its promises to renovate and upgrade its facilities on a regular basis. It is time for the Yellow Brick Road to see a brand new exterior, as well as many improvements to the interior.
In addition to that, the venue is also going to see the introduction of new restaurant and bar areas. Such new areas will elevate the family-friendly factor that is important for every casino complex, drawing an even more diverse crowd. The new dining offerings will be well integrated to the refreshed décor inside the casino venue.
Sports Betting Launches Soon
Apart from the renovation work taking place, the tribal casino venue is also going to introduce The Lounge, a brand new experience powered by Caesars Sports. This area will be built in preparation for sports betting launch across tribal and commercial casino venues in New York. Four commercial casino venues and seven tribal ones will welcome sports wagering as soon as the activity becomes legal on a state level.
All renovation work on site is expected to come to an end by the end of this summer. Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Nation Enterprises CEO Ray Halbritter pointed out that reinvestment is a common practice for the nation that strives to bring casino patrons the most diverse experience on site of its three brick-and-mortar casinos. Operation on site of the Yellow Brick Road Casino is going to continue while construction work is in progress.
At the beginning of this month, Oneida Indian Nation confirmed it is going to team up with Scientific Games Corporation in order to give local players the most advanced sportsbook with signature features. The tribal casino venues overseen by the Native American tribe will launch the OpenBet technology in the upcoming months. National Indian Gaming Commission also gave its permission to the collaboration.
