The casino even offers its Dealer Academy training course for free to provide applicants with the needed training and knowledge for the job.
The Dealer Academy will be available to only 40 individuals who have applied and have been approved to enter the six-week training program. Usually, the course costs US$5,000 but now it will be free of charge, and it will be held at the casino’s training center at 220 Harborside Drive, Suite #201, Schenectady, NY 12305.

Possibility of One More Property in NYS
Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady is operated by Rush Street Gaming, and it was recently reported that the company eyes one more casino license in the Empire State. Currently, the New York State Gaming Commission is looking to award three more commercial casino licenses in downstate New York, and the company has already submitted its bid to the regulator.
Rush Street Gaming is quite optimistic about its chances of landing such a license and it predicts that it can replicate its success from the Schenectady property. Its Chairman and CEO, respectively Neil Bluhm and Greg Carlin, expressed their support for the state’s endeavor of the acceleration of downstate licenses and awarding them sooner, as a way of generating more revenue for the state’s budget, during these trying times.
