Casino Charlevoix Reopens, Booked Until Early August

Loto-Québec is ready to greenlight in-person gaming across the province and this is going to happen following a four-month hiatus. Casino Charlevoix is preparing to reopen on July 16, but players have already sold out the gaming venue at its current capacity for the entire month of July. They did so since the beginning of this week.

Gaming at brick-and-mortar casino locations across Quebec has been prohibited ever since mid-March. The Crown corporation overseeing its gaming field was the first one on a national level to mandate casino venues and gaming halls closure for an indefinite period of time. This left the province without its four casinos and two gambling halls and online gaming and lottery tickets remained available.

Gaming Relaunches

For four months, players have been enjoying the diverse nature of espacejeux.com, bringing various gaming offerings their way. Along with that they have also purchased many lottery tickets both for the draw-based action and the instant one, purchases possible online and in-person in some areas. The period has taken its toll on the gaming field and the people associated with it.

Now it is time for some action, as Loto-Québec has been gradually reopening the gaming field of the province. July 3 saw the official relaunch of bingo gaming in Quebec. Charitable organizations depending on the gaming revenue it generates will once again have the resources to continue their daily operation and pursue their goals. July 7 was another important dare, as this is when VLTs across the province were switched on.

Hilton Lac-Leamy Hotel is about to welcome its first guests for the first time in months on July 13. The accommodation hotspot is going to be the first facility overseen by Loto-Québec to open. This Friday is about to see the official reopening of in-person gaming at Casino Charlevoix and Casino Mont-Tremblant. The gambling halls located in Québec and Trois-Rivières will reopen on July 16 too.

July 16

Players eager to gamble in-person have already booked their spot at Casino Charlevoix and, as it turns out, the casino location has been reserved until the end of this month. The earliest reservations for gaming activities and more on the premises of the casino venue are for the beginning of August.

As for the gaming offerings available on the premises of the four casinos overseen by the Crown corporation, one-third of the slot machines available will be switched on. When it comes to table gaming, about twenty percent of them will be open for card games and various gaming activities. Players ready to gamble in-person should reserve a time slot when they will be allowed to make their way into the casino venues.

In addition to that, they should also reveal more about their health state in a questionnaire, while also complying with all safety measures within the gaming hotspots. The maximum number of people allowed into Casino Charlevoix is 250 individuals at a time. July 23 will see the relaunch of Casino Lac-Leamy, whereas August 3 will relaunch Casino Montreal.
